Positioning can be dependent on how big your bathroom is and how large your shower enclosure is. One of the most common sources of leakage is from shower door seals not being properly sealed. Check if the shower door has magnetic strips to keep it locked tight. Also, check if the shower enclosure that you are getting has been corrosion tested and as much as possible; buy from companies who have done anti-corrosion salt tests on all their metal fittings.

There are some companies who sell shower enclosures that use profiling that looks a lot like aluminum but in fact are just plastic. These kinds of framing not only look and feel cheap, but are not very durable. Always go for the aluminum frames and try to check if the thickness is 1.2 – 1.6mm thick, these are significantly stronger than the others who use 0.5mm thick aluminums.

Hi Sara. Thanks very much! Hahaha. Well you can say that! Either glass shower enclosures are made for mimes or for deaf people so that you can call them whilst they're taking a bath. Haha :)
