When people hold a pool party and have friends over, one outdoor shower may not serve well. It would be seem inappropriate for visitors to form a line to take turns to shower. Using the indoor shower would also be a hassle for the owner of the house since people will be coming in and out of the house soaking wet, and water plus mud doesn’t really work well with the rug.
Having one spacious outdoor shower with multiple shower heads is good enough for people to us the shower together if they are comfortable with each other. There are instances however when the people using the shower are not comfortable to shower in one shower area with other people.
What people can do to maximize their outdoor shower is to create a partition within the outdoor shower enclosure and create two separate shower spaces so people more people can use the outdoor shower even at the same time. People can still enjoy some privacy even if someone else is showering on the other part of the shower.
Dividing the shower into two enclosed showering spaces is easier for existing showers that have multiple shower heads already. All there is to do is to install a partition in the middle. When doing so, people have to make sure that the space is evenly distributed so that there is enough room for both enclosed areas.
Building an outdoor shower enclosure partition for single shower head outdoor showers, there are more changes to be done. To make sure that the water runs in the 2nd shower head as well as the original shower head, it’s better to hire a plumber to deal with the pipe works.
The plumber should be able to distribute and create the right amount of water and pressure for both showers. Having two shower areas would be useless if people have to wait for others to finish showering before they get to use the shower because they have wait for the water to flow.
Both halves of the new shower spaces can also share one drain. People just have to make sure that the partition won’t get in the way of the drain of one of the shower areas. Without the drain, water may flood out of the outdoor shower enclosure and create an unwanted muddy mess.
The partition doesn’t have to be the same height as the entire outdoor shower unit. The partition can be mid length, where the head can be exposed from the top part and the feet can be exposed from the bottom. An elevated partition also makes it easier to share one drain since drains are usually placed in the center of the shower’s floor.
